Meet Kelley and Cassie

Kelley is a women’s wellness coach, and communications consultant on issues related to health, wellness and marketing to women.  She uses her own passion for reaching women with wellness information through this blog community and on-line radio shows.  Over the last five years, she has helped many companies reach women through digital and traditional media, including the award-winning tween girl smoking prevention site called  No Smoking Room.

Cassie is a passionate advocate for women’s health issues and communications strategist who has helped many companies educate women in areas from fibromyalgia to sexuality, breast cancer, osteoporosis and more.  She finds the link between pop culture and women’s health and brings film producers, authors, and real women to the radio shows and community of real women.

Our live women-to-women talk radio shows with Cox Media Group are broadcast live on Wednesday evenings at 8 pm, out of WSTC 1350/WNLK 1400 in Fairfield County Connecticut and uploaded to our radio show page here. Real Women on Health! is all about supporting and encouraging women to shift their thinking from “being a patient” to being their own best health and wellness advocate.  Kelley, host of Real Women on Health!,  is a women’s wellness coach and women’s health advocate who brings women together to create new conversations on health.  Cassie, the show’s co-host,  is a communications strategist who’s worked on the front lines of women’s health, diabetes, sexual health, breast cancer and more.

Together, they aim to transform the women’s health conversation to one where wellness, reinvention and vitality help women become more proactive – no matter their health challenges.

  1. This looks like a great site. Are you going to weigh in on the proposed health care reform plan? How can we make sure that more women get the health care and coverage they and their kids need? We have to work for each other–because we “get it!” And are you going to work with Michelle on her obesity-reduction initiative? Let’s get to it!

  2. I was at a party with a group of women last night, each sharing their stories about health insurance. We were perplexed about why health care reform is considered controversial, since everyone of us has faced an insurance problem over the past year. Some in our group were health care providers who shared horror stories of patients, and the rest of us were on the consumer side. If these problems are so widespread, why can’t the dialogue be more productive? We need to convince folks on both sides of the poitical spectum of the real need among people in all walks of life for some kind of universal health care. Can women talking to women about this create the groundswell we need? Let’s hope so!
